About Us

Mica Rae is all of our dreams becoming a reality. It was birthed from a lack of inspiring designs for children's clothing, toys and essential pieces.

After becoming parents for the first time in 2014, we realised finding a one-stop shop for contemporary and inspiring design led clothing, shoes and baby essentials was difficult to find - after 3 children and much frustration at how little the market had moved over the years, we decided we could make finding stylish baby essentials easy for the discerning parent. 

 

What does Mica Rae stand for?

Mica Rae is a combination of letters from the names of our three children, Mica Rae is all their personalities and needs in one lifestyle brand! We want to support independent businesses, our own products and new market entrants bring their products to little one's and their families. Of course, needless to say, we also want to do this in a responsible way by looking out for both the planet and the people who make our products.

We love running this family business from our home in London, everyone in the family gets involved with product choices, design and testing! It's a busy household but our passion drives us to provide the products you see on our website. Even little Caleb current 1 years of age gets stuck in at testing new products.
